Pair of elastic skeletal cummerbunds for a plate carrier, in genuine Multicam. MULTICAM is printed along the elastic webbing (see photos), so this is licensed fabric. Used, in good condition. You get BOTH sides.
WHAT THEY ARE
These are the side straps of a plate carrier: the parts that wrap around your ribs and join the front and back panels. The skeletal design is built from elastic webbing bands rather than a solid panel, which is lighter, far cooler to wear and lets the carrier flex as you move. They are the standard upgrade people fit when a solid cummerbund is too hot or too stiff.
SIZE
Each side is about 30cm (12in) long and 13cm (5in) tall
FEATURES
- Elastic webbing bands, so the carrier moves with you and grips without digging in
- Loop (velcro) panel at the outer end, which fastens to the front flap of the carrier
- Hook-and-loop tabs at the inner end to join the back panel
- Open skeletal structure takes MOLLE pouches or side plate pockets between the bands
- Fits most plate carriers that use hook-and-loop cummerbund attachment
CONDITION
Used but sound: the elastic still has its spring, the velcro grips and the stitching is intact. Honest field wear, with marks and fading (see photos).
Ideal for rebuilding or lightening a carrier, or replacing a solid cummerbund with something cooler to wear.
