About Pre-loved Tactical
We buy whole collections from airsofters who are hanging up their rig — the
player who has moved on, the one whose knees have given up, the family
clearing a loft. It arrives as it was left: muddy, in bin bags, missing a
buckle.
Every piece is washed, checked and made right before it goes back out. What
cannot be made right is sold as spares and said so plainly in the title. We
photograph each item against a tape measure so the size you read is the size
you can see, and we name the faults rather than hiding them in the small print.
It is good kit. It cost someone a lot of money, it has one season on it, and
it deserves a second owner rather than a skip.
The facts
- What it is
- Pre-loved Tactical is a shop selling second-hand airsoft, military surplus and outdoor kit.
- Who runs it
- Pre-loved Tactical is the trading name of ThinkWork Startup Consultancy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, no. 14427406. It is a one-person operation rather than a trade retailer: kit is bought from airsofters leaving the sport, from clubs, and from families clearing a loft, then cleaned and sold on.
- Where it is
- Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom. Everything is held, cleaned, photographed and posted from here.
- What is sold
- Pouches, plate carriers and rigs, magazine carriers, combat clothing, helmets and head gear, bags, optics, rifle parts, patches and airsoft guns. Genuine British Army surplus alongside airsoft kit, all second-hand unless a listing says new.
- Condition
- Everything is washed and checked before it is photographed, and every fault is named in the description rather than hidden in the small print. Anything beyond repair is sold as spares and said so in the title.
- How to buy
- Most items are bought through the linked eBay listing, where payment and buyer protection are handled by eBay. Airsoft guns and blank ammunition are not sold on eBay or Facebook: those are sold directly, by enquiry through this site, and answered by hand.
- Delivery
- Posted from the UK within two working days of payment. Postage is priced per item, and is GBP 1 for each extra item on the same order. Worldwide delivery to around a hundred countries through eBay, which quotes any import charges before you pay and collects them with the order. Airsoft guns are UK only.
- Returns
- Items bought through eBay are returned under eBay's policy for that listing. For an item bought directly, write to the address below.
- Age and the law
- Airsoft guns are realistic imitation firearms: over 18s only, and sold only to buyers with a defence under the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006, checked by hand before anything is sent. Blank cartridges are over 18s only. Body armour covers are sold without plates unless the listing says otherwise.

Questions
- Is everything second-hand?
- Yes, unless a listing says otherwise. Kit is bought from airsofters leaving the sport, from clubs, and from families clearing a loft, then cleaned and checked before it is photographed. A few items are new, sealed or opened but unused, and those say so in the title.
- How do I buy something?
- Most items are bought through the linked eBay listing, where payment and buyer protection are handled by eBay. Airsoft guns and blank ammunition are not sold on eBay or Facebook; those are sold directly through this site by enquiry, and answered by hand.
- Can I buy an airsoft gun?
- Only if you are over 18 and have a defence under the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 - UKARA registration, membership of an airsoft site, re-enactment, or another ground listed in the Act. The defence is checked by hand before anything is sent, nothing is reserved until it has been, and airsoft guns are sent within the UK only.
- Do you deliver outside the UK?
- Yes, to around a hundred countries through eBay, which quotes the postage and any import charges before you pay, collects them with the order and handles the customs paperwork. There is nothing to settle on delivery. Airsoft guns are the exception and are UK only.
- How much is postage if I buy more than one thing?
- Postage is priced per item, and each extra item on the same order adds GBP 1. Add them within seven days and eBay works it out at checkout.
- What condition is the kit in?
- Everything is washed and checked before it is photographed, and every fault is named in the description rather than hidden in the small print. Anything beyond repair is sold as spares and says so in the title.
- Do body armour covers come with the plates?
- No. A cover or carrier is sold as a cover unless the listing says otherwise, and where plates or soft filler are included it is stated plainly in the title.
- Where are you based?
- Eastbourne, East Sussex. Everything is held, cleaned, photographed and posted from the UK.
- Can I return something?
- Items bought through eBay are returned under eBay's policy for that listing. For something bought directly, write to [email protected].

Privacy
What we collect, how long we keep it, and why we ask for a UKARA number instead of a photograph of your licence.
- Seller
- ThinkWork Startup Consultancy Ltd, trading as Pre-loved Tactical
- Company number
- 14427406 (registered in England and Wales)
- Registered office
- 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA
- Email
- [email protected]
What we collect, and why
Only what is needed to sell you something and get it to you:
- Your name, email, delivery address and phone number - to take the
order, post it, and talk to you about it.
- Your order history - so you can see it, and because we have to keep
sales records for tax.
- Your password - stored only as a one-way hash. We cannot read it,
and neither can anyone who steals the file.
- For an airsoft gun: your UKARA number and the site that holds your
registration - to check your defence under the Violent Crime Reduction
Act 2006. We ask for the number and the site, not a document.
We do not see or store your card details at any point. Payment is handled by
Stripe, who are the data controller for it.
Identity documents
We would rather not hold a photograph of your driving licence, and normally we
do not need to: a UKARA number and a site name can be checked without one. If a
number cannot be verified we may ask for a document as a last resort, and then:
- it is encrypted at rest and only the seller can open it;
- it is used for the one check and nothing else - never for marketing, never
shared;
- it is deleted within 30 days of the order completing, or
immediately if the sale does not go ahead;
- you can ask us to delete it sooner and we will, unless the sale is still
in progress.
How long we keep things
- Order and sales records: 6 years after the end of the tax year -
HMRC requires it and we have no choice.
- Your account: until you ask us to close it. Ask and it goes, except
for the order records above.
- Identity documents: 30 days after the order completes. See above.
- Baskets and enquiries: cleared out after a year.
Who else sees it
Only the people who have to: Stripe for payment, Royal Mail or the
courier for the label, and our accountant for the books. Nobody else.
We do not sell data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not send
marketing email you did not ask for.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to
correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email
[email protected] and you will get an answer within a
month, usually much sooner. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the
Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
