What you are buying
Everything in this shop is second-hand unless the item says otherwise. It is bought from airsofters leaving the sport, from clubs, and from families clearing a loft, then cleaned and checked before it is photographed. Items are photographed against a tape measure, and faults are named in the description rather than left for you to find.
Because it is used kit, the law judges its quality against its description, its age and its price - not against a new equivalent. A fault that is described in the listing is part of what you are buying and is not a defect you can later reject the item for. Anything not described is a different matter, and is covered under "If something is wrong" below.
Prices and stock
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where VAT applies. Postage is shown before you pay. Most items here are one of a kind, and the same item may also be listed on eBay - whichever sells first takes it, and if an item sells elsewhere while it is in your basket we will tell you and refund you in full. Where an item shows a saving against a new price, that figure is a real price from a named retailer on a stated date, not a made-up "was".
Making an order
Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it. When you go to checkout the item is held for you for thirty minutes while you pay; if you do not complete the payment it goes back on the shelf. Your order is accepted - and the contract made - when we email you to confirm it, not when you pay.
Card payments are taken by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and are never seen by, or stored on, this website.
Airsoft guns and the law
A realistic imitation firearm (RIF) can only be sold to someone with a defence under section 36 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 - most commonly UKARA registration through an airsoft site, or being a re-enactor, film or theatre buyer. We check that defence by hand before any sale.
For a RIF, your card is authorised but not charged while we check. If the defence is in order we take the payment and send the item. If it is not, the authorisation is released, nothing is taken, and we tell you why. An authorisation usually clears from your account within a few working days.
Airsoft guns and blank ammunition are sold to over-18s only. We will ask you to confirm your age, and we may ask for proof on delivery. Two-tone and imitation firearms are never sent abroad.
If something is wrong
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, what you receive must match its description, be fit for purpose and be of satisfactory quality for used kit of that age and price. If it is not:
- tell us within 30 days and you can reject it for a full refund;
- after 30 days we will repair or replace it, and if that is not possible you can have your money back.
This is in addition to the 14-day right to change your mind, below, and nothing in these terms takes away a right you have by law.
Delivery
Posted from Eastbourne, East Sussex within two working days of a cleared payment, by Royal Mail unless the size says otherwise. Postage is per item, with the dearest item charged in full and £1 for each extra item in the same parcel. If your order has not arrived within 14 days of dispatch, tell us and we will chase it or replace it.
Our details, and complaints
Email [email protected] and you will get a reply from a person, usually the same day. If something has gone wrong we would far rather hear it than read it in a review. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
