About Pre-loved Tactical
We buy whole collections from airsofters who are hanging up their rig — the
player who has moved on, the one whose knees have given up, the family
clearing a loft. It arrives as it was left: muddy, in bin bags, missing a
buckle.
Every piece is washed, checked and made right before it goes back out. What
cannot be made right is sold as spares and said so plainly in the title. We
photograph each item against a tape measure so the size you read is the size
you can see, and we name the faults rather than hiding them in the small print.
It is good kit. It cost someone a lot of money, it has one season on it, and
it deserves a second owner rather than a skip.
The facts
- What it is
- Pre-loved Tactical is a shop selling second-hand airsoft, military surplus and outdoor kit.
- Who runs it
- Pre-loved Tactical is the trading name of ThinkWork Startup Consultancy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, no. 14427406. It is a one-person operation rather than a trade retailer: kit is bought from airsofters leaving the sport, from clubs, and from families clearing a loft, then cleaned and sold on.
- Where it is
- Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom. Everything is held, cleaned, photographed and posted from here.
- What is sold
- Pouches, plate carriers and rigs, magazine carriers, combat clothing, helmets and head gear, bags, optics, rifle parts, patches and airsoft guns. Genuine British Army surplus alongside airsoft kit, all second-hand unless a listing says new.
- Condition
- Everything is washed and checked before it is photographed, and every fault is named in the description rather than hidden in the small print. Anything beyond repair is sold as spares and said so in the title.
- How to buy
- Most items are bought through the linked eBay listing, where payment and buyer protection are handled by eBay. Airsoft guns and blank ammunition are not sold on eBay or Facebook: those are sold directly, by enquiry through this site, and answered by hand.
- Delivery
- Posted from the UK within two working days of payment. Postage is priced per item, and is GBP 1 for each extra item on the same order. Worldwide delivery to around a hundred countries through eBay, which quotes any import charges before you pay and collects them with the order. Airsoft guns are UK only.
- Returns
- Items bought through eBay are returned under eBay's policy for that listing. For an item bought directly, write to the address below.
- Age and the law
- Airsoft guns are realistic imitation firearms: over 18s only, and sold only to buyers with a defence under the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006, checked by hand before anything is sent. Blank cartridges are over 18s only. Body armour covers are sold without plates unless the listing says otherwise.

Questions
- Is everything second-hand?
- Yes, unless a listing says otherwise. Kit is bought from airsofters leaving the sport, from clubs, and from families clearing a loft, then cleaned and checked before it is photographed. A few items are new, sealed or opened but unused, and those say so in the title.
- How do I buy something?
- Most items are bought through the linked eBay listing, where payment and buyer protection are handled by eBay. Airsoft guns and blank ammunition are not sold on eBay or Facebook; those are sold directly through this site by enquiry, and answered by hand.
- Can I buy an airsoft gun?
- Only if you are over 18 and have a defence under the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 - UKARA registration, membership of an airsoft site, re-enactment, or another ground listed in the Act. The defence is checked by hand before anything is sent, nothing is reserved until it has been, and airsoft guns are sent within the UK only.
- Do you deliver outside the UK?
- Yes, to around a hundred countries through eBay, which quotes the postage and any import charges before you pay, collects them with the order and handles the customs paperwork. There is nothing to settle on delivery. Airsoft guns are the exception and are UK only.
- How much is postage if I buy more than one thing?
- Postage is priced per item, and each extra item on the same order adds GBP 1. Add them within seven days and eBay works it out at checkout.
- What condition is the kit in?
- Everything is washed and checked before it is photographed, and every fault is named in the description rather than hidden in the small print. Anything beyond repair is sold as spares and says so in the title.
- Do body armour covers come with the plates?
- No. A cover or carrier is sold as a cover unless the listing says otherwise, and where plates or soft filler are included it is stated plainly in the title.
- Where are you based?
- Eastbourne, East Sussex. Everything is held, cleaned, photographed and posted from the UK.
- Can I return something?
- Items bought through eBay are returned under eBay's policy for that listing. For something bought directly, write to [email protected].

Returns and cancellation
A 14-day right to cancel for any reason, who pays the postage, and how to send something back.
- Seller
- ThinkWork Startup Consultancy Ltd, trading as Pre-loved Tactical
- Company number
- 14427406 (registered in England and Wales)
- Registered office
- 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA
- Email
- [email protected]
Changing your mind: your 14-day right
Because you are buying at a distance, you have a legal right to cancel for
any reason at all - you do not have to have a reason, and you do not have
to have opened the parcel. This is the Consumer Contracts (Information,
Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
- You have 14 days from the day after your order arrives to tell
us you are cancelling.
- Then you have a further 14 days to get it back to us.
- We refund within 14 days of the item reaching us, to the card
you paid with.
- We refund the price and the standard postage you paid to receive it.
If you chose a faster delivery than our standard option, we refund the
standard amount.
To cancel, email [email protected] with your order
number. A line saying you are cancelling is enough - there is no form to fill in
and no reason to give.
Who pays the return postage
Changed your mind: you pay to send it back. Get a proof of posting -
until it reaches us it is your parcel, and that is the one bit of this that
catches people out.
Faulty, damaged, or not as described: we pay, both ways. Send us
a photograph first and we will send you a label or refund your postage. You are
never out of pocket for our mistake.
The condition it comes back in
You may inspect an item the way you would in a shop. If you have used it
beyond that - worn it on a game day, fitted it to a rifle, cut a strap - we may
reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value. We will tell you the figure and
why before we refund, not after.
Airsoft guns
The 14-day right applies to a RIF as it does to anything else. One
difference: we can only accept it back from, and refund, the person who bought
it, and it must come back by a carrier that accepts imitation firearms. Ask us
before you post it.
If we decline a RIF sale because the defence does not check out, there
is nothing to return and nothing to refund - the authorisation on your card is
released and no money was ever taken.
What is not covered
A fault that was described in the listing. We name faults deliberately and in
detail, and a described fault is part of the price you paid. Everything else is
covered.
How to send something back
- Email [email protected] with your order number
and whether you are cancelling or reporting a fault.
- We reply with the return address, same day where we can.
- Pack it so it arrives as it left, and keep your proof of posting.
- We refund within 14 days of it arriving, and email you when we do.
Nothing on this page reduces your statutory rights. If we have got something
wrong, say so and we will put it right.
